SEBRING, Florida (February 4, 2013) - The Panther Racing crew wrapped up the IndyCar open test at Sebring Raceway Tuesday, with driver Carlos Huertas in the No. 4 Panther Racing Chevy. With the start of the 2014 season just around the corner, the test proved useful for the team and gave Huertas valuable seat time at the helm of the No. 4 car.

"It was great to get back into the car and be back at the track with Panther. It went well Monday, we made some improvements in terms of how the car felt." Huertas said. "Today we tried more things and kept improving all the time. The fastest time we did was actually on old tires. Overall it was a good test, improving a lot. The most important thing is that we were able to try different things..."

Panther completed a full day of testing Monday, but was only able to complete a half-day today due to an electrical issue. Despite the difficulties Tuesday, Team Manager Derek Higgins was happy with the results of the two-day test. The crew will return to Indianapolis to prepare for the possibility of additional pre-season testing.
